Cycling holidays:
Most of our itineraries are designed to suit anybody reasonably healthy. Average cycling per day is usually between 30 – 65km with a bias on cycling on the flat or downhill, mainly on tarmac or some good quality dirt roads. We have our own fleet of Hybrid bikes, which come in different frame sizes and are equipped with 21 gears and front suspension. On most trips there is vehicle support available.
Please have a look at our more challenging mountain bike itineraries in the Pyrenees and in Morocco.
Walking holidays:
Anybody reasonable fit can usually participate and with the exception of a few more challenging trekking trips in the Pyrenees the average walking time per day is approx. 3-6 hrs with 300 – 800m ascent per day.
Cultural holidays:
These trips have a stronger bias on cultural, historical and architectural aspects of the visited region but are usually always combined with some undemanding walking in good countryside along the route. Look out for the itineraries referring to “Natur & Culture”.
Family holidays:
These trips are designed to offer a good mix of leisure and activities during the holidays – to be shared by all members of the family. Usually possible from 8 years on.
Special themes & tailor-made holidays:
Over the years we have been gaining a very detailed knowledge of regions where we operate plus have a great deal of local contacts. So, if you have a special request or a special interest group – please get in touch with us. We will be delighted to send you an offer for any group from minimum 8 people.
If you are interested in architecture – we are collaborating with local experts on special itineraries in Barcelona, Havana (Cuba) and Morocco. |
