We start the day in the oldest part of Barcelona to get acquainted with the history and development of the city. We will make a short visit to the Museum of Catalan History and then walk along the bustling promenade of the famous Barceloneta beach, enjoying the sun and the sea breeze of Barcelona. After a good paella at the Olympic Port, we sail with the sailboat until dusk to see the different lights of the Barcelona skyline. All this with a good aperitif and Cava Català to accompany the sunset.
After a first contact with the sea, it’s time to immerse yourself in the activity you like most: stand-up paddle, kayak, jet ski, parasailing … To recharge your batteries, we’ll have the best tapas in the popular Gothic Quarter with its narrow streets and light contrasts. We will continue through la Ribera and the Born, the trendy neighborhood of the city and El Raval, the multicultural neighborhood of the immigrants. Free afternoon to rest.
Visit the Sagrada Familia and Santa Maria del Mar to get a glimpse into the history of the city and the roles of the basilicas. We will see the different Barcelona through their textures and materials that embellish the city. In the afternoon optional visit to the Aquarium of Barcelona and swimming with the sharks or Diving at the Port Olympic or other activities offered there. Meet the marine flora and fauna that we have in this area of the Mediterranean.
This morning we will rise above Barcelona with a panoramic cableway from Barceloneta to Mount Montjuïc. At the top we find the fortress, the old prison of the XVII century and the castle of Montjuïc, future peace center. From there we enjoy a 360 ° view of Barcelona and the commercial port. Then we descend through the Olympic Zone until we reach Pueblo Español, where we enjoy a flamenco dinner and end the night with magical fountains, a water show, lights and music in a central area of the city.
A day to do new activities in the sea with the many options in the Olympic Port: flyboard, sea kayak, flyfish, racing boat, banana, sailing class. After lunch, free afternoon. We advise a visit to the fascinating Parc Güell or other great works of Antoni Gaudí and continue exploring other parts of Barcelona.
We leave the harbor in the morning with a catamaran and eat typical Catalan products on the sea. In the afternoon we climb the highest point of the city on the Tibidabo mountain to appreciate the city from the opposite side on which we lived this week. We will have dinner in the observatory, where we will end the tour and be enchanted by the sea of stars over the city of Barcelona.
Transfer to the airport and return home.
